A nonprofit organization, IAC Vascular Testing is supported by the following organizations while operating independently of their activities. Representatives from these organizations, listed below, make up the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors.

American Academy of Neurology (AAN) / American Society of Neuroimaging (ASN)
Richard Genova, BA, RVT, NVS, RPhS
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) | American Society of Neuroimaging (ASN). Currently, he is the Neurovascular Lab Technical Director at Weill Cornell Medicine where he is a certified sonography investigator for several registered clinical trials and helps to prepare vascular neurology fellows for the ASN credentialing exam. He also continues working per diem in an IAC accredited peripheral vascular lab at another major medical center in NYC. Mr. Genova graduated from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA and received his vascular technology training and certification from the Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus. He is also credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS) and by the American Society of Neuroimaging as a Neurovascular Specialist (NVS).
Tatjana Rundek, MD, PhD
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) / American Society of Neuroimaging (ASN). Dr. Rundek is a Professor of Neurology, Vice Chair of Clinical Research and a Director of Clinical Translational Research Division in the Department of Neurology of the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. She also holds a secondary faculty appointment at the Department of Neurology at Columbia University in New York City where she was a director of the non-invasive vascular laboratory. Dr. Rundek is a stroke neurologist, clinical researcher and principal investigator of several NIH/NINDS funded R01 grants on genetic determinants of carotid atherosclerosis and stroke. Dr. Rundek is also a recipient of a NINDS K24 career development award. She participates in large stroke genetic consortia including the NINDS Stroke Genetic Network and International Stroke Genetic Consortium. Dr. Rundek was a Fulbright Scholar and the recipient of the research awards from the Hazel K. Goddess, the Dr. Gilbert Baum Fund and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) for best clinical application of medical ultrasound. Dr. Rundek is an editor of the Carotid Stenosis book and a Current Opinion in Neurology series for clinical and scientific neurology professionals. She serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, Stroke, Neurology and Cerebrovascular Diseases. She has published more than 300 scientific and professional publications, editorials, reviews and book chapters. In addition to ASN, she is also a member of the American Heart Association (AHA), American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM)
Muhammad Hasan, MBBCh, RPVI, RVT
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). Dr. Hasan graduated from Cairo University in Egypt in 1984 and completed his fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Cairo University Hospital in 1989. Currently Dr. Hasan manages the cardiovascular clinical and technical education, system-wide accreditation, and quality assurance/performance improvement (QA/PI) programs at the Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute of Baptist Health South Florida. He works with a team of approximately 300 board-certified physicians and registered technologists to ensure compliance with the highest patient service standards. In addition to American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) Dr. Hasan is a member of many professional societies including American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Society of Vascular Ultrasound (SVU), and Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS). Dr. Hasan has published numerous peer reviewed articles in the field of noninvasive vascular imaging and has presented at many professional society meetings.
Margarita Revzin, MD, MS
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). Dr. Revzin began her academic radiology career in 2009 as a clinical instructor at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston In 2010, she joined the Yale University School of Medicine, where she currently maintains her appointment as an associate professor of radiology. After receiving her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology from New York University, Dr. Revzin received her medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. She then completed an internship in internal medicine at Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, NY a residency in diagnostic radiology at Northwell University/Health System in Manhasset, NY and a fellowship in abdominal and interventional imaging at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Revzin is certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and is a fellow of AIUM and the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (SRU). In addition to her ultrasound and emergency medicine expertise, Dr. Revzin has vast experience in the field of radiologic education. She has received more than 40 awards including the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Honored Educator Award four times, for contributions to medical educational in the field of radiology. She has also received several teaching awards from her own institution. Dr. Revzin has published multiple peer reviewed articles, book chapters, original research and has presented several scientific and educational exhibits at national meetings. She is a frequently requested speaker at the locoregional, national and international levels. Dr. Revzin serves on multiple national committees and is currently conducting several research projects in the fields of vascular and gynecological ultrasound. Bryan J. Wells, MD
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the American Society for Echocardiography (ASE). Dr. Wells is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Wells graduated from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed residency and chief residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and cardiology fellowship at Emory University. Dr. Wells is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, vascular medicine, vascular imaging (RPVI), echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. In addition to ASE, he is an active member and fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the Society for Vascular Medicine (SVM). He is the Director of Vascular Medicine for the Division of Cardiology at Emory, and is the Medical Director for the cardiology vascular laboratories at Emory.
Susana Robison, MBA, RVT, FASE
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE). She currently serves as the Ambulatory Director, Neurosciences Service Line for USC Care and Ambulatory Services at Keck Medicine of USC. She earned her BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. she has authored and co-authored several book chapters and articles as well as lectured extensively. In addition to ASE, she is a member of several other professional societies including the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (SDMS), the Society of Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) and the Society of Vascular Medicine (SVM). Andrea T. Obi, MD
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery (SVS). Dr. Obi is an Assistant Professor in the department of surgery at the University of Michigan. She holds degrees in microbiology and immunology as well as English literature from the University of Michigan and received her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery residency in the department of surgery at the University of Michigan, during which time she also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in vascular biology in the Conrad Jobst Vascular Laboratories. She then concluded an additional clinical fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Michigan. Dr. Obi’s laboratory focuses on dissecting molecular mechanisms involved in venous thrombus (VT) resolution. Her clinical practice is comprised of general peripheral vascular surgery including aortic, carotid, dialysis and lower extremity endovascular and open operations, with an emphasis in treating venous disease. She is the co-director of the Venous Health Program, a multidisciplinary clinic that treats patients with rare congenital anomalies, venous thromboembolism (VTE), advanced chronic venous insufficiency, and pelvic congestion syndrome. She is also the co-director of the institutional Venous Thromboembolism Committee, aimed at implementing best practices to reduce hospital acquired VTE. On a national level she is the chair of the American Venous Forum (AVF) research committee and serves on the writing group for the multi-society (SVS/AVF/ American Vein & Lymphatic Society) venous treatment guidelines. Among other distinctions Dr. Obi received the 2019 Vascular Cures Wylie Scholar Award and the 2020 SVS Foundation Mentored Research Career Development Award.
Leila Mureebe, MD, MPH, MMCi, DFSVS, FACS

Soo Hyun (Esther) Kim, MD, MPH
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the Society for Vascular Medicine. Dr. Kim is the Academic Chief of Cardiology for Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute at Atrium Health and is Professor of Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Dr. Kim graduated from Duke University School of Medicine, received her Masters in Public Health from the Public Health Leadership Program at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Public Health. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD and her fellowships in Cardiovascular Medicine and Vascular Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She has written and lectured extensively on the topic of vascular ultrasound and is the Chair of the Peripheral Vascular Disease Council of the American Heart Association and the President-Elect of the Society for Vascular Medicine.
Raghu Kolluri, MD, MS, RVT, RPVI
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the Society for Vascular Medicine (SVM). Dr. Kolluri is currently the system medical director of vascular medicine and vascular laboratories at OhioHealth and is also an adjunct clinical professor of medicine at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is also the president of the VIVA Foundation. After graduating from the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune India, Dr. Kolluri completed his internal medicine residency at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH, followed by his vascular medicine fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Kolluri is a past president of SVM and is currently a fellow of numerous professional organizations including American College of Cardiology (ACC), American College of Physicians (ACP), Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) and the American Heart Association (AHA). He serves on various committees and boards both at OhioHealth and nationally. Dr. Kolluri is involved in several research studies in vascular disease and devices. He has authored numerous scientific abstracts, guidelines, book chapters, and peer-reviewed manuscripts. Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS)
Mounir J. Haurani, MD, MPH, FACS, FSVS, RPVI
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS). Dr. Haurani is a Professor of Surgery, and the Division Chief and Program Director for Vascular Surgery at East Carolina University. He also serves as the program director for the vascular surgery fellowship program. His clinical interests cover the full spectrum of vascular surgery from complex aneurysm repairs to venous diseases. Dr. Haurani has been at Ohio State for more than 12 years and is excited to be starting the next chapter in his career as the division chief for vascular surgery at East Carolina University Health System beginning in August 2024.
Patrick Stone, MD, FACS, RVT, RPVI
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS). Dr. Stone is a professor in the department of vascular surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN as well as the co-medical director of the vascular laboratory and serves as the vascular surgery fellowship program director. He works in vascular surgery at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the Nashville Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Stone earned his medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine in 1999. He went on to complete his general surgery residency at West Virginia University and his vascular surgery fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. In addition to SVS, Dr. Stone is a member of several other societies including the American College of Surgeons (ACS), Southern Association for Vascular Surgery (SAVS), and Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society (VESS). He is currently on the editorial board for the Annals of Vascular Surgery and is an invited reviewer for the Journal of Vascular Surgery and Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Jeanette R. Flannery, RVT, RDMS, FSVU
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors serves as a representative of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU). Ms. Flannery is recently retired as the manager/technical director at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. She received her education at William Paterson College and completed specialized training at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Newark Bath Israel Medical Center. Ms. Flannery has contributed to various professional organizations, such as co-founding the North Jersey Chapter of Society for Vascular and the Newark Beth Israel School of Vascular Technology. She has also served as vice president and president of the North Jersey Chapter of Society for Vascular. Ms. Flannery has been involved with the SVU as a member, chair and director.
Sandra Yesenko, DHSc, MHS, RVT, RDMS, FSVU
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative for the Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU). Dr. Yesenko is currently the lead sonographer for education and training in the non-invasive vascular laboratory at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. She is also an active member of the Cleveland Clinic Allied Health and Education Council. She has won numerous awards such as the Caregiver Celebrations Excellence Award, Outstanding Performance in Clinical Instruction and Student Mentoring, Allied Health Educators’ Award, and the Cleveland Clinic Honors Award. Dr. Yesenko is a professor at Lorain County Community College where she teaches and mentors allied health students. She serves on the advisory committee for the diagnostic medical sonography programs at both Lorain County Community College and Cuyahoga Community College. Dr. Yesenko received her doctorate degree in health science from Nova Southeastern University. She is a member of the annual conference planning committee and in 2015 was appointed to the Board of Directors for SVU. She also acts as the associate editor and is on the editorial review board for the Journal for Vascular Ultrasound. Dr. Yesenko simultaneously serves as a board member for education and membership for the Northern Ohio Vascular Association. Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS)
Tammy Foraker, RVT
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS). Ms. Foraker is a vascular sonographer with more than 20 years of clinical experience and advanced knowledge of vascular ultrasound exams including upper and lower arterial, upper and lower venous, renal artery du plex and arterial graft exams. Ms. Foraker received her A.A. in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from the Central Ohio Technical College in Newark, OH, and graduated from Muskingum University in New Concord, OH, with her B.S. in Healthcare Management. She currently works as a vascular sonographer for Genesis Healthcare System and LRS Healthcare where she strives to maintain the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. In addition to SDMS, Ms. Foraker is also a member of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) and is on the diagnostic medical sonography board for Central Ohio Technical College. She has been a speaker at several SDMS national conferences.
Aubrey Rybyinski, BS, RDMS, RVT, FSDMS
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS). Currently, Mr. Rybyinski is a lead technologist at Cooper University Vascular Surgeons at Navix Diagnostix in Taunton, MA. He earned his BS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography at Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences (now called Advent Health University) in Orlando, FL. Mr. Rybyinski has authored several chapters in medical publications as well as lectured extensively. In addition to SDMS, he is a member of the Society of Vascular Ultrasound (SVU). Brian Schiro, MD, RPVI, FSIR
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). Dr. Schiro is a vascular and interventional radiologist at the Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute in Miami, FL and is the medical director of the noninvasive vascular lab at Baptist Hospital of Miami. Dr. Schiro completed his fellowship training with Miami Vascular in vascular and interventional radiology in 2010 following his diagnostic radiology residency training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2004. Dr. Schiro now serves as the program director for the independent interventional radiology residency with Miami Vascular and is also the medical director for the medical sonography program at Nova Southeastern University. He has authored numerous articles in peer reviewed journals and his research interests include noninvasive imaging and diagnosis as well as peripheral vascular interventions. John S. Pellerito, MD, FACR, FSRU, FAIUM
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (SRU). Dr. Pellerito is currently the associate chairman of the Department of Radiology, director of both the Body Imaging Fellowship System and the Peripheral Vascular Laboratory, and chief of the Division of Diagnostic Ultrasound, CT and MRI at North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Pellerito is also an associate professor of radiology at LIJ School of Medicine, adjunct assistant professor of radiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and assistant professor of radiology at NYU School of Medicine. Upon receiving his medical degree from Albany Medical College, Dr. Pellerito completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia and his fellowship in cross sectional imaging at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Conn. He has published two books as well as a multitude of articles and journal reviews. Dr. Pellerito also holds numerous elected positions including vice president of Faculty Council of Hofstra North Shore LIJ School of Medicine and chair of Commission on Education at American College of Radiology. Additionally, Dr. Pellerito is a member of several professional societies such as Radiology Leadership Institute and Society of Ultrasound in Medical Education and has lectured nationally on the topic of vascular ultrasound.
Nirvikar Dahiya, MD, FSRU
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as a representative of the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (SRU). Dr. Dahiya is currently Professor of Radiology and Chair of the Enterprise Ultrasound Subspeciality at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. Upon receiving his medical degree from Punjabi University in Patiala, India, Dr. Dahiya completed his residency in radiology at St. John’s Medical College in Bangalore, India and later, his fellowship in abdominal imaging at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. In 2011, he received his certification from the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Dahiya has lectured extensively, co-authored several book and written and reviewed numerous articles and other publications. Maegan Epps-Kasperek, BS, RVT
Maegan Epps-Kasperek, BS, RVT serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as an Early Career Member-at-Large. Ms. Epps-Kasperek is currently the lead vascular sonographer at her clinic working within Vein Clinics of America in Chicago, IL. She began her career as a licensed radiologic technologist (RT) before deciding to pursue vascular sonography and becoming a registered vascular technologist (RVT). Ms. Epps-Kasperek attended South Suburban College in South Holland, IL where she graduated with her Associates of Science from the radiologic technology program in 2017. She when on to receive her Bachelor of Science from Rush Medical University in Chicago, IL in 2019. Ms. Epps-Kasperek is a member of the Society of Vascular Ultrasound (SVU), American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). She also belongs to the Lambda Nu Radiologic and Imaging Sciences National Honor Society (IL Delta Chapter). Her clinical experience includes performing ultrasound examinations (i.e., venous insufficiency, vein mapping, deep vein thrombosis, renals, aorta-iliac, carotid, segmentals, upper venous, transcranial doppler, upper and lower arterial studies and more), sitting in on vein ablations and injections, uploading and backing-up images and writing preliminary reports. She enjoys interacting with diverse groups of prospective patients, students and clients.
Abhisekh Mohapatra, MD, MS
serves on the IAC Vascular Testing Board of Directors as an Early Career Member-at-Large. Dr. Mohapatra is a board-certified vascular surgeon currently practicing at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA. He also serves as an assistant professor of vascular surgery at Harvard Medical School. After completing his undergraduate degree in molecular and cell biology from the University of California Berkeley, Dr. Mohapatra received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He then went on to complete his specialized vascular surgery training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. After his training, Dr. Mohapatra became a member of the faculty in the division of vascular and endovascular surgery at both Massachusetts General Hospital and Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He holds multiple education and leadership roles including medical director of the vein centers at NWH and MGH Waltham, co-director of the vascular laboratory at NWH, associate program director for the vascular surgery residency and fellowship programs at MGH and associate clerkship director at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Mohapatra is regionally and nationally recognized for his clinical research endeavors with more than 25 peer-reviewed publications, membership and committee service in multiple national societies and oversight of clinical trials. His practice covers the entire scope of vascular surgery, but he has particular clinical expertise and research interests in aneurysmal disease and peripheral artery disease. CEO
Mary Lally, MS, CAE
is the Chief Executive Officer at the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). Ms. Lally began her tenure with the IAC in 2007, serving as Director of Accreditation. In this role she has been instrumental in the development and oversight of the IAC’s MRI and CT diagnostic divisions as well as the Carotid Stenting, Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Catheterization therapeutic divisions. Ms. Lally has a unique combined background of clinical expertise and association management experience, possessing both a Master’s degree in Radiation Health Physics as well as the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential. Before joining the IAC, Ms. Lally gained more than 20 years of clinical, operational and leadership experience, serving as the founding MRI program director at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. In addition, she developed and implemented radiology quality assurance programs with emphasis in the vascular surgery, interventional and cardiology departments at the University of Maryland Hospital. Marge Hutchisson, BS, RVT, RDCS, RPhS
joined the IAC in April 2008 and serves as the Director of Accreditation for IAC Vascular Testing. Her experience includes more than 30 years in the field of peripheral vascular ultrasound and 13 years in transthoracic echocardiography. Throughout her career, she has served in a managerial and technical director capacity in the establishment and management of cardiovascular laboratories. Ms. Hutchisson earned her nursing diploma at Lakewood School of Practical Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio, and her Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. She is board-certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in both Vascular Technology and Adult Echocardiography. She is credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Phlebology Sonographer. She is an active member of the ARDMS, Society of Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) and CCI.
