The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) is pleased to announce the first facilities to be awarded the new Perioperative Transesophageal Accreditation:
- Brigham and Women’s Hospital
- Duke University Medical Center
- The Cleveland Clinic Foundation
- University of Michigan Department of Anesthesiology-Perioperative Echocardiography
- University of Washington Medical Center
IAC created the new program in 2023 in collaboration with the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists (SCA), American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and IAC Echocardiography sponsoring organizations. Quality and safety Standards have been developed for Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).
