The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) is pleased to announce the first facilities to be awarded the new Adult Transthoracic Congenital Echocardiography.

Recognizing the critical role of facilities providing care to patients with congenital heart disease who transition their care from pediatric cardiology to adult cardiology services, IAC announced the availability of a new testing area, Adult Congenital Transthoracic Echocardiography, in 2023.
The program is now available to applicant facilities currently accredited by IAC Echocardiography as an add-on testing area. Interested facilities with questions can contact our staff at echo@intersocietal.org.
