IAC will present a live webinar (followed by a Q&A session) entitled Beyond Awareness: Strategies to Prevent Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders in Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers.
This webinar will present an overview of WRMSD prevalence, risk factors, and impacts within the cardiac and vascular communities, along with evidence-based strategies for prevention. This session will offer practical, scalable recommendations that can be implemented across diverse practice settings. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how institutional support, sonographer-driven change, and collaborative ergonomics can foster a safer, more sustainable workplace.
This webinar is designed to:
- Describe the prevalence and impact of WRMSDs in cardiac and vascular sonographers.
- Identify the primary occupational risk factors contributing to WRMSDs.
- Discuss current evidence and best practices in ergonomic principles applied to echocardiography and vascular sonography.
- Teach you to apply practical, actionable strategies for reducing WRMSD risk in clinical environments.
