IAC will present a complimentary live webinar (followed by a Q&A session) entitled Pelvic Venous Disorders: Gonadal Vein Insufficiency.

At the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to use pelvic landmarks to identify gonadal veins, accurately document a diseased gonadal vein by ultrasound and report based on widely used and validated diagnostic criteria, have broadened their understanding of why patients have or may be at risk of gonadal vein insufficiency and will understand the most common causes of gonadal vein insufficiency. It will also prepare learners to have thorough conversations with their reading physicians regarding patient presentation and clinically significant ultrasound findings.

This webinar is designed to teach you to:

  • Be able to identify and document a diseased gonadal vein
  • Recognize pelvic vein anatomy
  • Understand gonadal vein insufficiency and the pathophysiology behind it
  • Understand common sources of collateralization
  • Appreciate signs and symptoms of the lower extremity that suggest a more proximal source of disease
