Standards and Online Application Now Available
IAC is pleased to announce the release of the IAC Standards for MRI Image-Guided Prostate Biopsy Procedures as the foundation of the new MRI Image-Guided Prostate Biopsy accreditation program now available to facilities interested in applying.
To earn accreditation, facilities must document competency in the numerous areas that contribute to quality, safe performance of MRI image-guided biopsies for the diagnosis of prostate cancer. These include the training and experience of the medical and technical staff, the equipment, the consistent adherence to biopsy procedure and treatment practices and ongoing quality improvement measures to continuously improve outcomes.
