IAC Vascular Interventional will present a live webinar (followed by a Q&A session) entitled Unlocking the Power of Venous Ultrasound and Intervention in Deep Venous Thrombosis.
This course aims to provide a clinical overview of deep venous thrombosis from the perspective of an interventionalist. What does an interventionalist need from their sonographers and ultrasound exams? Where are the biggest opportunities to favorably impact patient care? What are some areas where we can improve as a discipline? We will also review modern treatment methods that may be relevant for your patient’s care. By the end of the course, the critical role of sonography in the DVT patient’s story should be very apparent and tangible.
This webinar is designed to:
- Describe clinical implications of deep venous thrombosis in its acute and chronic stages
- Review the role of venous ultrasound in the identification, characterization, and management of patients with DVT
- Identify unmet needs and opportunities for improvement
- Explain indications and rationale for interventional treatment as well as expected outcomes
