It is important for facilities that have achieved IAC accreditation to stay abreast of the latest news and information from the IAC. Each page of the Staying Informed section addresses the following areas:

• The IAC Standards and Guidelines for CT Accreditation are reviewed and revised by the Board of Directors as needed. Therefore, updates and revisions are sometimes made to the Standards.
• The IAC continues to make improvements to the Online Accreditation application.
• Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements are an important component to maintaining IAC accreditation. The IAC provides facilities with a full listing of CME requirements, upcoming courses, online CME and recurring courses and self study.
• In order to better assist facilities, the IAC hosts Upcoming Events throughout the year such as live webinars.
• Representatives from the IAC divisions are on hand in the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission booth at many upcoming local and conferences. View the exhibit schedule on the IAC website.
• The IAC sends out E-mail and Print Correspondence regularly to inform facilities of upcoming webinars, Standards revisions or major news and updates.
